The service will be offered in 2 stages (each with its fixed cost):
1st Phase: Feasibility Study. A phonetic search of the trademark to be registered will be made to check if there is already a similar trademark previously registered with the IMPI; since, if this were the case, the registration would not proceed.
In case of finding that a registration already exists, the client will be able to re-design their logo and/or change brand name, and a search will be done for the new name.
o 2nd Phase: Application for Registration. If the trademark to be registered passes the feasibility study, then you can proceed with the user registration process before the IMPI and then enter the corresponding trademark registration application.
The procedure has an estimated time of 13 months, and may vary if objections, oppositions or other events are presented.
